Here are some recent finds, don't mind my photos I rarely have time to take them when the sun is actually shining. They are still pretty...
Old lace on an old lace card
Mother of pearl buckles and buttons
In a plastic Art Deco jewelry box
Hair pick decorated with tiny sea shells, pearls and glitter
Hand painted Japanese hair ornament
Flower garden quilt with old fabrics
Flapper era hosiery bag
Filled with hand crochets pieces
Glass jars with tins lids
You updated! I was hoping you'd post again soon. Vintage stuff never fails to cheer me up when I'm feeling down. Grad school has definitely been tough this year (and has made me feel like an idiot more times than I care to remember), but it's amazing how much happier I feel when I find something great at an estate sale. Or when I succeed at getting stains out of a dress that seemed irreparable. Or when the sun shines through my collection of old apothecary bottles sitting on the windowsill. It's nice to know that you are similarly affected by beautiful old things, and I really hope that those feelings of frustration pass you by in a hurry.
