These bulbs each have a different flower inside that glows. Aerolux also made ones with animals, religious crosses, Christmas figures and others. What a cool find!
This blog will document my treasure hunt adventures in estate sales, auctions, flea markets and yard sales in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. And hopefully many more places across the country and world. The search is mainly but not limited to vintage clothing and accessories, vintage fabrics, antique lace, millinery flowers and pretty things from the past.

May's Favorite Find
I have been too busy to post much lately, and heading for vacation in a day so I want to get May's Favorite Find in before July rolled around.
Aerolux Light Co. was a manufacturer of artful gas-discharge light bulbs from the 1930s through the 1970s. The metal sculptures inside were coated with phosphors and glow like neon.
These bulbs each have a different flower inside that glows. Aerolux also made ones with animals, religious crosses, Christmas figures and others. What a cool find!

I've never seen anything like these before; I can't believe you found them at an estate sale!
